when a buyer pays, we hold the money. the seller doesn't see it yet, and neither does solstead — it sits until handoff is confirmed.

the buyer pays by card. funds sit with us, not the seller.
five business days
the seller has five business days to deliver everything the listing promised: code, access, documentation.
seven day check
the buyer gets seven days to install it, run it, and confirm it matches the listing.
release or refund
the buyer confirms and funds release to the seller, or nothing arrives and the buyer gets a full refund.
no handoff, full refund. you deal with us, not the seller.
we hold the review, the money, and the dispute window. we don't verify a seller's revenue figures with their payment provider — the listing says plainly which numbers are self-reported. what we do guarantee is that you don't hand over money and end up negotiating alone with a stranger about whether the code actually shows up.
most handoffs finish in under two days. the window exists for the ones that don't.
