the first ten listings

who cleared review in the first batch, and what didn't make it.

ten submissions came in for the first review pass. some cleared all five checks on the first read. a few came back after a resubmission, once the seller fixed whichever check it had failed on. one didn't come back at all.

nothing about the process was different for batch one than it is now. same five checks, same order, run by the same person. we didn't loosen the bar to get a launch batch, and we're not going to.

a small first batch beats a padded one. ten real listings are worth more than fifty unverified ones.

the ones that made it share one thing: a working demo and a repo that told a consistent story. the ones that didn't, mostly failed on proof of substance, not on code quality. that pattern hasn't changed since.
